Thank you so much for joining this course! I'm thrilled to have you here, and I can't wait to dive in. Here are a few things for you to know and consider before we begin: 

1. Web design can be tricky. Things update regularly, and there are an infinite amount of ways to achieve the same thing. With that in mind, I've created a private Facebook group just for my students so we can bounce ideas and questions off of each other. I realize that not everyone has a Facebook account, but I created this group to provide as many avenues as possible for my students to get feedback and have a fun community of like-minded people.

2. I'd love your feedback. If you think something is missing, or if you have questions about a topic you'd like to see included, let me know! 
   

3. Although I show you some premium themes that cost about $60, you can still follow along with the default WordPress theme, or feel free to find your own theme to work with. My goal is to guide you with how I do things, and give you enough information that you feel comfortable exploring other options on your own. Again, if you get stuck, ask for help from the Facebook group- it's one of the things that separates this course from any other. 
   

4. Don't give up, and don't get frustrated: Web design can be difficult, but if you stick with it, I'm confident you'll be able to crush it!
